For my Fourth prototype for my final year at University, I decided to create a Crafting System in order to challenge myself
The big challenge for this was finding a method of setting up crafting methods and checking that the player had everything for it, then sorting the inventories. This was even more challenging when it came to the cooking objects, as these required to be able to cook things over time without the player interacting.
